GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPs 

The Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) invites applications from Texas residents pursuing graduate studies in community college leadership, higher education leadership or other graduate or professional academic program. TACHE will award four $2,000 fellowships. Fellowships will be awarded to students whose emphasis is in community college leadership, higher education leadership studies at the graduate level. Other fellowship awards will also be considered for students whose study emphasis is in university/post-graduate education (various fields) at the graduate level. 


Fellowship winners will be notified on or no later than December 11, 2023, and the awards will be presented at the 489h Annual TACHE Conference, February 21-24, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas at the Westin San Antonio North.

Call for Proposals for the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education 49th Annual Conference are officially open. This year’s conference theme is Crecemos con TACHE: Celebramos Nuestros 50s to highlight the work, contributions, and dedication of nuestra gente to higher education in Texas.


The Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) invites nominations/applications for the Distinguished University Faculty Award. The award recognizes superior levels of professionalism and accomplishment in the areas of teaching, research, or service. Any faculty member or administrator may submit a nomination. Individual faculty members may self-nominate.


Distinguished University Faculty Award winner will be notified on or no later than December 7, 2023 and the awards will be presented at the 49th Annual TACHE Conference scheduled for February 21-24, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas at the Westin San Antonio North. All awardees should be registered for the conference and plan on attending.
