health & Safety

As the COVID-19 Global Pandemic continues, TACHE is preparing to manage our conference with the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees, staff, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers at the forefront of our minds during the 47th annual TACHE Conference. Moreover, we are committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment during the conference.

All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, TACHE Board, Conference Committees and staff, service providers, and others are expected to abide by our safety protocols. TACHE Conference Planning Committee formed a subcommittee which provided the safety measures and protocols you will see during the conference.

As you prepare to participate in the 47th annual conference, TACHE strongly encourages you to be fully vaccinated, boosted and expects all attendees to wear a mask while attending the conference. Bring your school spirit to it! We encourage attendees wear masks during the conference from their respective schools if they meet the latest CDC requirements of KN95, KF94's or N95.

Please do your part so that we can all enjoy the conference and have a safe experience.

We look forward to seeing you in Fort Worth!

Below you will find information regarding health and safety precautions in place for conference attendees.

Safety Protocols
Contactless Engagement: Hotel guests are encouraged to enroll in Hilton Honors and use the Hilton Honors App to access the hotel’s contactless options including mobile check-in/check-out and mobile room keys. Enrollment is free. For more information, click here.

What to Expect During Your Stay: The Hilton is looking forward to welcoming you and remains committed to making your stay a smooth and memorable experience. To view what the Hilton is doing click here.

Face Coverings: We strongly encourage you to wear you masks at all times, except while actively eating/drinking. Masks worn during the conference should meet the latest CDC requirements of KN95, KF94's or N95.

Housekeeping: Housekeeping service is complimentary and available upon request during your stay. Simply contact the front desk at any time to request extra towels and amenities or to schedule a room cleaning. For stays of four (4) nights or more, we will provide full cleaning every fourth night/fifth day for all guests.

Conference Sessions: The first row in every educational session will be reserved and seating will not be permitted. This will ensure that presenters have enough room to move around with appropriate distance from the audience. The planning team will continue to monitor conference registration and adjustments will be made to educational session room capacity to support safe spacing and balanced attendance. Signage will be posted when a session has reached designated capacity. Table occupancy in the main meeting space has decreased from ten (10) to six (6) per table to allow conference attendees the ability to socially distance as much as possible.

  • Rooms will be supplied with wipes, hand sanitizer and masks-although we encourage to bring your own mask.

  • Session facilitators will ask the session attendees at the conclusion of the session to help sanitize the area prior to leaving the session.

  • The session facilitators help ensure/encourage all session attendees are wearing a mask.

Physical Distancing: While many venues are not currently requiring physical distancing, TACHE will provide physically distant seating and event space set-up to allow individuals who wish to physically distance while in sessions to do so comfortably. Additionally, to help attendees communicate their level of comfort in interacting with one another, TACHE will provide color-coded stickers on your name badge to all onsite attendees:

  • Red = Greet From Six Feet

  • Yellow = Elbows & Fist Bumps Only

  • Green = Handshakes and Hi-fives

Cancellation Due to COVID Exposure
TACHE hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, we know extenuating circumstances do occur. Registrants who are unable to attend the conference due to COVID exposure will be refunded. It is the responsibility of the individual to contact the conference organizers (in writing) five days prior to the start of the conference if they are unable to attend. No refund will be applicable to no shows. Registrants must contact the hotel directly to cancel their room reservations.

Virtual Options
We recognize that travel budgets and personal health concerns may prevent members from attending the conference in Fort Worth in February/March 2022. Due to budgetary constraints we will NOT be able to offer a virtual option. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
