Mission

TACHE is a statewide collective of educators, advocates, and organizers committed to increasing access and opportunity through higher education for Chicano, Latiné, and other underrepresented first-generation communities in Texas. 

Vision

To be a resilient, united, and unrelenting force for educational justice and social equity—boldly leading the transformation of higher education for all, with students at the center and deeply rooted in the Chicano legacy, history, and community.

We fight to dismantle oppressive systems in higher education and organize for transformative policies that prioritize justice and reparative action for historically excluded communities.

We affirm the inherent dignity of all identities and experiences—centering intersectionality and resisting erasure in our pursuit of justice for Chicano, Latino, and allied communities.
