Hola TACHE familia!
TACHE, the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education, is proud to formally announce a call for proposals for its concurrent breakout sessions at the 2026 Conference State Conference, scheduled for March 4 - 6, 2026 in Lubbock, Texas. This year’s conference theme, “Raices de Esperanza: Building Resilient Communities for Educational Advancement”, invites diverse and innovative session proposals that align with our mission to foster meaningful dialogue and progress in higher education.
Our programming team invites you to submit your proposals sessions in one, or more, of the following modalities:
Lecture: conventional presentation delivered by (1) or more presenters;
Roundtable: presentation of a topic that also engages audience participation;
Panel: moderator guides the panel subject matter experts through series of questions;
Workshop: session designed to teach or introduce participants practical skills or techniques;
Poster: concise presentation of research or a topic delivered in a visually engaging poster format;
Other: other designated presentation modality

The deadline to submit proposals is October 10, 2025.
All selected presenters must be members of TACHE and will be required to register for the conference. Please note that conference registration rates are dependent on individual membership status. Only complete applications will be considered. We look forward to reviewing your innovative ideas and contributing to a meaningful and transformative conference experience.
