TACHE, the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education, is proud to formally announce a call for nominations for its inaugural outstanding book award for 2022. Nominations should be single-authored or multi-authored collection of original work, including scholarly monographs and anthologies, published in 2021. Unfortunately, re-editions will not be considered. Nominations must be scholarly original research focused on Chicanx/Latinx in Higher Education or Chicanx/Latinx Studies. Eligible authors of nominated works must be a current member of TACHE. This year’s winner will be recognized at the annual TACHE state conference, which will be held in Fort Worth, Tx, February 27-March 2^nd, 2022.

Those interested in being considered should complete an online form. The deadline to submit nominations is December 31^st, 2021. Only complete applications will be considered. Nominees must include a 100-200 word abstract of work and include why this work contributes to Chicanx in Higher Education or Chicanx Studies. Author CV’s are also being requested as part of the submission. Apply below.
